These stories follow the adventures of Berty Bear and his
friends Smidgey and Rory in the village of Littleton. The stories are aimed at
a target audience of children between the reading ages of three and seven years
old, and can be both enjoyable and educational. Within the narrative, basic
lessons are included on nature, science and exploring the world around them as
well as providing a first step to early reading by the children themselves.
